Heading to Elsewhence next month?
Got camp food or other items that could use a new home?
Give back with Elsewhence Collexodus happening at Gate and alongside De-Greeters during Sunday Exodus this September! 

 

Help out our friends at Gate and other volunteers who are collecting your unopened, unused non-perishables and fresh food items in good condition and gifting it directly to the LifeBridge Food Pantry to support the local community that hosts our event. 

 

Spread the word to your camp, camp mates, friends, and others and help us strengthen local resources and food accessibility!

 

🤝 COMMUNAL EFFORT REQUIRED: A project like this doesn't run on magic alone—it runs on volunteer and community power from folks like yourself! Help us get the word out that Gate and Collexodus volunteers will have donation bins available to collect items either during the event at Gate or alongside De-Greeters during Sunday Exodus as participants depart. We’re also looking for volunteers!

• Note: If you’re interested in volunteering with Gate during the event (to help collect items and place them in boxes for transport after the event), make sure to let your Shift Lead know. We also have shifts available alongside De-Greeters on Sunday during Exodus.

Pack Smart: Raid your bins and camp kitchen for unopened and unused gear/food before you pack camp! Look for items like:

For those unable to provide physical donations, you can also donate online to LifeBridge at this link and add “Elsewhence Collexodus” to the comment section. 

 

Please no open bags! Don't buy extra—just bring what you didn't eat/use!

 

Drop Off: There are two drop-off options for Elsewhence Collexodus: 

1. Bring donations to Gate throughout the event until Gate closes at 9PM on Saturday

2. On Sunday (9/20) from 9AM-3PM at the De-Greeter Station Pull Off Area and Donation Station (at the top of the hill)

 

Connect: Stop by Greeters or Info Booth and chat with volunteers during the event to learn more about Collexodus efforts
